About the role:

In this role as a Digger Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all plant being operated on civil / roading projects is presented, serviced, maintained, and operated in a professional, safe and efficient manner that complies with all relevant legislation, regulation and policy and achieves agreed productivity and quality targets.

On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself operating excavators – up to 8 tonnes, working around live services, and will be expected to work hands-on to perform manual labouring duties.

About you:

Ø  Proven ability and competence in the proper care, maintenance, and operation of plants

Ø  A skilled operator with proven experience operating excavators

Ø  Minimum Class 2 licence and W, T, R

Ø  Experience and good track record of working around services

Ø  Understanding and practical application of grades and levels

Ø  Physically fit and capable

Ø  Motivated hard working

Ø  Keen and capable of learning new methodologies

Ø  Ability to take on a leadership role 

Ø  Read and understand project (Driveway, Retaining wall, Pile, Foundation excavation etc) plans, 

Be available for "call out" work as required We are building team capability and now seeking an experienced Driver Operator to join our team. You will be a supervisor of our team and will be involved in civil work operating heavy machinery and preparing sites for work.  You'll enjoy working outdoors, doing physical and mechanical work where you will use both machinery and hand tools to get the job done in a variety of conditions. You will need to be familiar with and follow strict safety procedures as your natural way of working.
